Constantinople
• Founded six centuries before Christ as Byzantium, refounded in AD 330 as Constantinople, and conquered by the Ottomans in 1454, Istanbul was the great eastern European imperial capital for almost 16 centuries. See some photo galleries of the City, the Archaeology Museum, Sancta Sophia or Aya Sofya and Aya Triada , The Hippodrome, The Ecumenical Orthodox Patriarchate, the Sunken Cistern built with 336 columns. Also, see some of the finest mosaics in the world at Great Palace and at Virgins Mary of Chora Church, The Carpet Museum and the YediCule. Egypt
• Ever since Herodotus, the ancient Greek historian and traveller, first described Egypt as “the gift of Nile” the country has been capturing the imagination of all who visit. The awe-inspiring monuments, left by pharaohs, Greeks and Romans as well as by early Christians and Muslims, attract thousands of visitors every year. Ethiopia
• Ethiopia, almost the only African country to have escaped European colonialism, has kept firm hold of its cultural identity. With its complex traditions, ancient history and long connections with Christianity, Ethiopia is a fascinating country to visit. Known above all for its exceptional historical attractions, its sites include centuries-old rock hewn churches and grandiose castles. Home to several famous archaeological finds, Ethiopia is also known as the Cradle of Humanity. We will show you photos from The Historical Route of northern Ethiopia including Addis Ababa, Bahar Dar and Lake Tana, Gonder and Simien Mountain, Aksum and Lalibela. You can also have a look to the galleries of Mary of Zion Churches and Lalibela at Christmas.

Greece
• In Greece we will start from the Holy Mountain of Athos with the Nature the Architecture and some interest Wall Paintings from the monasteries. Then some photos from Athens and Acropolis Museum.
